  1. You need of Kuka(baobab powder).
  2. You need of Flour.
  3. It’s of Beans flour.
  4. Prepare of Potash.
  5. You need of Cassava flour(alubo.

  9. You need of Green pepper.

Hausa Dumplings(dan wake) instructions

  1. In a cup soak your potash in a warm water,mix all the dry ingredients together,add the soaked potash it and mix thoroughly..
  2. In a clean pot,add some water and bring to boil.Wash your hands and drop the the mixture in the boiling water and allow to cook for some minutes.When it's soft run some cold water over it,strain in a colander.Place a pan on fire and add a little oil fry with onions.Serve in a clean plate,add your yaji(powdered chili),add the oil and maggi seasoning,garnish with boiled egg and veggies and enjoy..
  3. Note:do not cover the pot,because due to the potash added to the mixture, the water flows up,so you have to be close to prevent it from flowing over the pot..
