- You need of rice.
- It’s of grade chicken marinated.
- It’s of ground cumin, paprika, tandoori masala.
- You need of cinnamon(optional).
- It’s of large potatoes and 1 pinch of salt and sunset yellow food color.
- Prepare of large onions.
- Prepare of natural yoghurt or Mala.
- You need of large tomatoes.
- It’s of salt.
- Prepare of Cooking oil for deep frying the potatoes&frying chicken & onion.
- You need of small piece of raw pawpaw.
- Prepare of cinnamon sticks or a safron stick- optional.

- Shallow fry the marinated chicken. I marinated mine using lime juice,coriander and 1 teaspoon of mixed spice..until tender but not too soft..
- Shallow fry your onions..
- I slightly boiled my potatoes and added a pinch of salt then coated with the food colour and deep fried them..
- Blended the tomatoes, yoghurt and diced pawpaw..
- Stir fry the spices then add the onions and the yoghurt mixture.once hot. add in your chicken and bring it to boil.
- When almost boiled add in your fried potatoes for 2-3min..
- The rice cook it separately, I boiled 4 cups of water then added a pinch of salt and my washed rice. So we used 1 1/2cups normally white rice and added 1/2cup of multi grain japanese rice for a twist but that's optional and the cinnamon sticks/safron stick..
