Ingredients of Bharwan masala tinda
- It’s 10-15 of small or medium sized tindas.
- It’s 3-4 of large onion (Grated into a paste).
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- You need 1 tsp of anardana powder.
- You need 1 tsp of amchoor powder.
- It’s 1 tsp of jeera powder.
- You need 1 tsp of garam masala.
- You need to taste of Salt.
Bharwan masala tinda step by step
- Take 10-15 small or medium sized tindas, peel them and make 2 slits in them so that they can be stuffed but don't cut till bottom..
- In a plate add the grinded onion paste and to it add all the above mentioned masalas..mix well and chk the seasoning..
- Now take the tindas. Carefully open the slits slightly and stuff them with the onion mixture. Fill all the tindas..
- In a kadai, add 2 tbsp of oil and as it heats add the stuffed tindas to it. Let them cook for 5 min On a high flame then lower the flame..add 1/2 cup of water and cover and cook for 15 min. Keep on chkg….
- As the water evaporates and the tindas soften…again set the flame on high and saute the tindas till they get golden brown in colour….stir carefully or they can break……
- Enjoy the chatpata tindas with chapatis, parathas……
