- It’s 250 gm of apple gourd.
- It’s 1 of Onion medium size fnely chopped.
- It’s 2 of tomatoes (puree).
- Prepare 1/2 inch of Ginger(minced or crushed).
- You need 2 of green chilli.
- You need 10-15 of Garlic cloves (minced or crushed).
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 pinch of hing.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of kasoori maithi.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of kashmiri red chilli powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of cumin powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
- It’s 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of cream or malai.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of curd.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of oil.

- Wash and peel the gourd and cut into 4 small pieces and pressure cook for 1 whistle only (HALF COOKED).
- Heat 2tbsp oil in a pan..add mustard seed and cumin seeds.once they splutter add hing and kasoori maithi…stir.
- Add finely chopped onion and saute till the onion turn light brown or translucent..
- Add ginger garlic paste saute…and add kashmiri red chilli powder.
- Add tomatoes and remaining all dry masala and saute them till tomatoes soften and raw aroma goes away..
- Add cream or Malai and stir until masala leaves oil..
- Add salt and half cooked tinda and cook for about 4-5min.till tinda masala nicely coated with the gravy..
- Add 1tbsp curd..cook for 1min.and then add water as required and cook covered for another 4-5min.until oil separated..
- Garnish with fresh coriander and cream…serve hot with chapaties…
