  1. It’s 1 cup of Black Eyed Beans / Chawli / Lobia (Soaked for 8 Hrs).
  2. You need 1 cup of Coriander Leaves.
  3. Prepare 3 tsp of Brown Rice (Soaked for 30 Min).
  4. Prepare 2 of Green Chillies small.
  5. It’s 1 tsp of Chopped Ginger.
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds / Jeera.
  7. You need 3 tsp of Water.
  8. Prepare 1 tsp of Salt.
  9. Prepare As needed of Oil.
  10. Prepare as needed of Water for consistency.

Lobia Dosa | Chawali Dosa instructions

  1. Take 1 cup of Black Eyed Beans (Chawli / Lobia), wash it nicely and soak it in Water for 8 to 10 hrs..
  2. After eight hrs. Take 3 tsp of Brown Rice, wash it nicely and soak in Water for 30 Min..
  3. Then in a mixer grinder, take the soaked Rice by draining off the Water and grind into fine powder..
  4. To that now add soaked Black Eyed Beans (Chawli / Lobia) by draining off the Water, 2 small Green Chillies, 1 tsp of chopped Ginger, 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera), 3 tsp of Water and blend into smooth batter..
  5. Then add 1 cup of fresh Coriander Leaves into the mixer grinder and again blend into smooth batter..
  6. Then remove the blended batter in a mixing bowl and give a nice mix..
  7. Now add 1 tsp of Salt and Water as required to adjust the consistency of Dosa batter..
  8. Add more Water if required to get the perfect Dosa batter consistency..
  9. Furthermore, preheat the Dosa tawa and grease with the Oil by using tissue paper..
  10. Pour the ladleful of Dosa batter and spread gently to get perfect round Dosa..
  11. Add ½ tsp of Oil and allow it to roast on medium flame until Dosa turns brownish in colour or until Dosa start leaving the pan..
  12. Once the colour changes fold the Dosa and serve with Chutney or Aloo Sabzi as per choice..
