- It’s 1 cup of Black Eyed Beans / Chawli / Lobia (Soaked for 8 Hrs).
- You need 1 cup of Coriander Leaves.
- Prepare 3 tsp of Brown Rice (Soaked for 30 Min).
- Prepare 2 of Green Chillies small.
- It’s 1 tsp of Chopped Ginger.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds / Jeera.
- You need 3 tsp of Water.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Salt.
- Prepare As needed of Oil.
- Prepare as needed of Water for consistency.
Lobia Dosa | Chawali Dosa instructions
- Take 1 cup of Black Eyed Beans (Chawli / Lobia), wash it nicely and soak it in Water for 8 to 10 hrs..
- After eight hrs. Take 3 tsp of Brown Rice, wash it nicely and soak in Water for 30 Min..
- Then in a mixer grinder, take the soaked Rice by draining off the Water and grind into fine powder..
- To that now add soaked Black Eyed Beans (Chawli / Lobia) by draining off the Water, 2 small Green Chillies, 1 tsp of chopped Ginger, 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera), 3 tsp of Water and blend into smooth batter..
- Then add 1 cup of fresh Coriander Leaves into the mixer grinder and again blend into smooth batter..
- Then remove the blended batter in a mixing bowl and give a nice mix..
- Now add 1 tsp of Salt and Water as required to adjust the consistency of Dosa batter..
- Add more Water if required to get the perfect Dosa batter consistency..
- Furthermore, preheat the Dosa tawa and grease with the Oil by using tissue paper..
- Pour the ladleful of Dosa batter and spread gently to get perfect round Dosa..
- Add ½ tsp of Oil and allow it to roast on medium flame until Dosa turns brownish in colour or until Dosa start leaving the pan..
- Once the colour changes fold the Dosa and serve with Chutney or Aloo Sabzi as per choice..
