  1. Prepare of rolled oats.
  2. You need of walnut pieces broken into small chunks.
  3. Prepare of flaked almonds.
  4. You need of almonds, cut into small pieces.
  5. Prepare of each of pine nuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds.
  6. Prepare of coconut oil, melted.
  7. It’s of honey (add more or less if you prefer it sweeter or not).

Homemade granola instructions

  1. Mix all of the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add the honey to the melted coconut oil and mix well.
  3. Pour the oil over the nuts, oats and seeds and mix until coated. (If you put half your dry mix in a blender and whizz for a few seconds first, this will form some clusters when you add the oil.).
  4. Pour into a large oven tray where you can spread it out thinly..
  5. Place in the oven on 160˚ for 20 minutes, shaking half way through to ensure even cooking. Don't leave it too much longer as it will become too crisp and taste a little burnt!.
