Ingredients of Homemade granola
- Prepare of rolled oats.
- You need of walnut pieces broken into small chunks.
- Prepare of flaked almonds.
- You need of almonds, cut into small pieces.
- Prepare of each of pine nuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds.
- Prepare of coconut oil, melted.
- It’s of honey (add more or less if you prefer it sweeter or not).
Homemade granola instructions
- Mix all of the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add the honey to the melted coconut oil and mix well.
- Pour the oil over the nuts, oats and seeds and mix until coated. (If you put half your dry mix in a blender and whizz for a few seconds first, this will form some clusters when you add the oil.).
- Pour into a large oven tray where you can spread it out thinly..
- Place in the oven on 160˚ for 20 minutes, shaking half way through to ensure even cooking. Don't leave it too much longer as it will become too crisp and taste a little burnt!.
